Himachal Pradesh
The Great Himalayan National Park
The National Park with an area of 620-sq-kms is caved out of the splendid mountain terrain of the Kullu District and has the representative area of temperate and alpine forests of Himachal. It is also one of the largest protected area of the state.

Pin Valley National Park
Tucked in between the snow laden higher reaches and scree slopes covered with scanty tufted vegetation, Pin Valley National Park forms the natural habitat of a number of endangered animals including Himalayan Ibex, Snow Leopard, Bharal, Wooly Hare, Tibetan Wolf, and Snow Cock.

Simbalbara Sanctuary
This sanctuary is located in Paonta Valley of Sirmour District. This area bears beautiful dense Sal forests with grassy glades.

Uttranchal Pradesh
Corbett National Park is world renown for its wild population of Tigers, Leopards and Elephants. The Corbett National Park is located at the foothills of the majestic Himalayas in the state of Uttranchal in India. The Corbett National Park inhabits a wide variety of flora and fauna. Corbett is world renown for its wild population of Tigers, Leopards and Elephants. Once a popular hunting ground of the British, the Corbett National Park was named in the honour of the late Jim Corbett, the legendary hunter-naturalist turned author and photographer, who spent most of his years in this area and contributed in shaping the park. Corbett National Park was established in the year 1936, as the Hailey National Park. With the help of the World Wildlife Fund, Project Tiger was launched in Corbett National Park in the year 1973 and this park was one of the first such tiger reserves in the country.

Nanda Devi National Park
The Nanda Devi National Park is one of the most spectacular wilderness areas in the Himalayas. It is overshadowed by the peak of Nanda Devi, which rises to over 7,800 m. Nanda Devi National Park is characterised by the unique mix of flora and fauna.


West Bangal

Sundarbans National Park
The vast swampy delta of the two great Indian rivers, Brahmaputra and the Ganges stretches over areas consisting of mangrove forests, swamps and forest island all creating a chain of small rivers and streams. The Sundarbans National Park in West Bengal is home of the Royal Bengal Tiger.

Madhya Pradesh

Kanha National Park
The Kanha National Park, in Madhya Pradesh, stretching over 2000 sq km, has horse-shoe shaped valley & grasslands surrounded by the Satpura Mountains.The vegetation, chiefly made of Sal and bamboo forests, grasslands and streams, this park is the sole habitat of the rare hard ground barasingha.
Kanha boasts of about 30 species of mammals. Some of the inhabitants of this park are the magnificient Tigers, gaur, the largest of the world's cattle.

Bandhavgarh National Park
Bandhavgarh is a small national park, but with the highest known density of tiger population in India. It was used to be the hunting ground of the rulers of Rewas. Covering 448 sq km area it is bounded by Sone river in the East, Johilla river in the South & drained by Umrar riverĀ  in the west. The terrain is made of rocky hills, Sal forests and grazing areas, formerly agricultural land. This is also known as White Tiger territory.

Rajasthan

Keoladeo Ghana National Park Bharatpur
The rich aquatic plant and animal life in the shallow, freshwater marsh of Bharatpur has been attracting resident and migratory aquatic birds in thousands since times immemorial. It has a recorded history of 100 years of duck shoots. The Siberian cranes visit no other waters in India except the marshes of Keoladeo

Ranthambhor National Park

Here sambar, chital chinkara, nilgai, wild boar and common langur provide a good spectrum of prey range for the resident tiger and their coperdators, leopards and jackals. Sloth-bear and hyena, also live in the 392 sq km. of unique habitat of dry deciduous forest.

Sariska Tiger Reserve
The landscape of Sariska is dominated by sharp cliffs of hills and narrow valleys of the Arvallis. The grassy glades and woodland covers an excellent niches of the prey species, sambar, chital, nilgai, four-horned antelope, wild boar and common lanuar, tiger, common leopard and their followers jackal, hyena and jungle cat.

Sasan
Reputed across the world for its population of Asiatic Lion, Gir National Park is a paradise for the connoisseurs of wildlife. It has a rugged terrain and the steep rocky hillsides are covered in mixed deciduous forests. There are teak, ber, flame of the forest and banyan trees.

Nalsoravar Situated 54 kms from the city of Ahmedabad is the bird sanctuary, Nalsarovar. It is the largest bird sanctuary in Gujarat and can boast of its scenic beauty as well as its feathered inhabitants.

Assam

Kaziranga National Park
Kaziranga Wildlife Sanctuary one of the World Heritage Site is situated in the northeastern state of Assam in India. The Kaziranga Wildlife Sanctuary houses world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds.

Kerala

Periyar Wildlife SSanctuary (Thekkady)
Situated in Thekkady 190 km from Kochi, this sanctuary is popular for its tiger reserve. The greatest attraction is the herd of wild elephants that come down to the lake to frolic in the waters. Tiger, sambhar, bison. spotted deer, leopard, Malabar Flying squirrel, Stripe-necked mongoose and soon are also found in the forest.
